MSIT 4+1 Arts and Sciences Declaration Form

The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) 4+1 Program provides all undergraduate College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) students and recent alumni with a seamless pathway to the Master of Science in Information Technology program.

Students who complete this program earn a bachelor's degree + master's degree in Information Technology in just five years. 

Information Technology is a fast-growing discipline and IT professionals are needed in every industry. This program is a great way to save time and make an advanced degree more accessible and affordable!

Program Requirements

  1. Complete four required undergraduate IT courses with a B or higher in each course.
  2. Receive an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
  3. Start the MSIT within three years of completing your Bachelors degree from A&S.
  4. Complete the graduate application to transition to the MSIT program and receive guaranteed admission.
